gracious surroundings peaceful setting friendly faces signage clarity
the breakfast room had such grace. the grounds looked peaceful and sat close to the city. i checked in early and it helped me begin sightseeing in the afternoon.
check in felt off, no usual friendly faces looked. signage lacked clarity.

historic charm, solid stay
historic feel easy access helpful staff
the setting has a lovely historic feel. the location provides easy access near the center. the staff arranged a taxi to the train station for me.
The sound isolation wasn't great. I could hear noises from other rooms until late.

convenient location disabled parking plain room high price
The location provided convenient access to local shops, colleges, and restaurants. My specific requests were met, including a walk-in shower and lift access. Disabled parking was also available on site. I found this very convenient.
The room felt rather plain and lacked amenities like pictures or a television. I also thought the price was high for the level of comfort provided. The room was basic. I expected more for the money I paid.
